Planning a funeral is, for most of us, a step into the great unknown at a time when we’re in shock and at our most vulnerable. G. Beaven Funerals were recommended to our family and we met with Josh to plan my father’s funeral on the day he died so we were all feeling pretty raw and not sure how we were going to make any decisions. Josh was empathetic, genuine and was, most importantly, able to take us through the arrangements we needed to make and all the options available clearly and with no pressure. He made a daunting experience less difficult and was always patient answering the type of questions he must get multiple trimesters a day. Josh made our family’s experience feel very personal while still being the utmost professional. I know my dad would’ve rated it as a pretty good send off, especially after being played off with the music he wanted over a large portable speaker, not often you see the assembled crowd at a funeral singing around a hearse! Thanks Josh, that was what dad wanted and you really delivered.
